I Saw It

I Saw It

I saw it, I did, I really did. I witnessed it with my own eyes and ears. It was an experience I don’t know if I can really put it into words. I guess I should start somewhere, so how about the beginning.

I saw it about four weeks ago, or maybe five weeks ago, sometime around that. I didn’t think I was going to see it, at least not for awhile, but I guess fate had other plans. I saw it with a few friends, but it did little to erase the terror I experienced that day, I don’t think even years of therapy would even make a dent. I saw it at night, somewhere around nine or ten, pitch black. I was driving home from work, going along the highway, not having a care in the world. But I did care, I cared when I saw something I didn’t expect to see. I saw it first, and I told the rest, who saw it as well. I knew I couldn’t just drive past it, it wouldn’t let me, the curiosity wouldn’t let me.

I parked the car and we walked slowly towards it. We were nervous, but we were too “Macho” to show it. We finally got close to it, inching ever so closely. Of course I had to take the lead, and I had to see it first. We finally saw it, and we were terrified, mortified, and horrified, and whatever other words that end with “ified”. But we made it out, barely, but we did. I pray to never ever see it again.

So yeah “It” was a pretty decent movie, I recommend you see it.
