Great fashionable gifts for the holidays!

They day after Thanksgiving I woke up bright and early to go “Black Friday” shopping. On Black Friday, many stores lower their prices and tempt shoppers with huge deals that may never come around again. I guess this is the reason why I saw people camping out at Best Buy and other people standing in line outside Walmart beginning at midnight.
As I was shopping, I noticed a lot of great gifts, not only for myself or the people I buy for, that are available this year. And why not share these ideas with you, my readers, just to help your holidays be a little brighter – or at least easier to finish your last-minute Christmas shopping.
Gifts for Her
Give the freezing temperatures and the fact it’s technically still fall, we know this winter is going to be a cold one. Help her keep warm by treating her to a pair of fashionable gloves. Gloves are rather easy to buy for a special girl. They are one-size-fits-all and come in varieties of colors and fabrics. Does she have a favorite winter coat? If so, purchase a pair of gloves that match her coat. If not, perhaps buy her gloves in her favorite color or favorite animal print. I spotted the pictured gloves at Macy's for $20. They were originally $32.
Scarves are also a great gift for a girl of any age. Like gloves, scarves are one-size-fits-all and can be bought to match gloves or a coat. I found the scarf in the photo at Macy's for $42, but it was on sale for $23.
Charm bracelets have become increasingly popular in the past year. The stores are filled with many different styles and brands of charm bracelets, a good thing because you can find bracelets that are hundreds of dollars or you can find similar bracelets that can be purchased for under $50. I found a display at Macy's with a variety of bracelets originally $55 but on sale for $40.
Gifts for Him
Flannel shirts for guys are really in this holiday season. Every store I went into that sold men's clothing had some form of flannel shirt. American Eagle Outfitters displayed an abundance of button-down long sleeve flannels which came in various colors, all for $40.
Jordan apparel is a popular brand for men. While walking past Finish Line, I spottedthe Jordan hoodie in the photo, a perfect Christmas present for one of my brothers. Jordan apparel is mainly worn but teenagers and adults, so it's perfect for a brother or a dad. This hooded sweatshirt was originally $70, but everything in the store was 20 percent off. You might find some even better sales closer to Dec. 25.
Gifts for a Pet
Have a special dog in your life? What could be a better gift than puppy apparel! During my quick visit to Petland, I found the cutest puppy shirts with sayings such as “Party Animal” or “Santa's Little Helper.” I guarantee your dog will be looking extra cute in a shirt at a cost of only $10-$15 per shirt.
So get out there and finish that holiday shopping. Make the cash registers ring with your stylish purchases for family and friends. You may find some even bigger sales as Christmas nears, but you certainly don’t want to wait too long because the really good items and sizes might be picked over by Dec. 24. And don’t forget to ask for gift vouchers just in case your gifts are duplicates or aren’t exactly right.
Happy Shopping and Holidays!
