We've been Tebowed!

"You've been Tebowed!!"
This phrase was uttered by many fans during the season as Denver quarterback Tim Tebow led the Broncos to one miracle win after another. His efforts led the Broncos to the playoffs to face the Pittsburgh Steelers first round in the wild card game. Of course, Pittsburgh was heavily favored to win the game. How could Tebow, a young, inexperienced quarterback, possibly win against one of the top defenses in the NFL?
As it turned out, pretty easily.
Tebow has always been criticized for his arm strength and accuracy. But that didn't stop him from throwing for 316 yards and two touchdowns in the overtime victory over the Steelers. Tebow also used his famous running game to add another touchdown. The Steelers played as if they all had lead in their feet. Tebow helped expose their sluggishness by putting two beautiful passes right into his receiver's arms in regulation. These deep passes were crucial to the momentum, as every pass Tebow completed ran the momentum to the Broncos.
The Steelers, however, didn't go down without a fight. Isaac Redman ran in a touchdown and Big Ben threw a risky pass to Jerricho Cotchery that Cotchery barely hung onto for the touchdown. The game remained tied at the end of regulation. Many people wondered where Tebow's first half magic went, and the answer came five seconds into overtime. The Broncos won the coin toss and started with the ball at their own 20-yard line. On the first play of overtime, Tebow hit wide receiver Demaryius Thomas on a slant route. What looked like a rountine play turned into an 80-yard game-winning touchdown as Thomas couldn't be caught by any of the Steeler's secondary.
The crowd went insane after the touchdown, and Tebow was seen kneeling or "Tebowing," as it is now called. This overtime win cemented Tebow's 2011-2012 season legacy in a dramatic fashion. Remember, it's all fun and games until your home team gets Tebowed!
